The City Archives and Special Collections at the New Orleans Public Library along with the Archdiocese of New Orleans and New Orleans Catholic Cemeteries are hosting a series of webinars beginning Saturday, September 12 at 11am Central time with the theme “Identifying Your Catholic Ancestors.”
Sessions that are scheduled include:

- September 19 – Requesting Genealogy Records
- September 26 – Navigating Newspaper Databases for Obituaries
- October 3 – Archdiocesan Indexes and Digital Resources
- October 10 – Cemetery Research
- October 17 – Cemetery Exploration: Identifying Burial Locations
These webinars are free and available to the general public but they are capped at 300 participants. So, be sure to register today AND get there early so you can get your seat!
